Dean focuses his practice in the areas of family, estate, criminal and disability litigation. He has represented clients at all levels of the Manitoba Courts.
Clients appreciate the sense of loyalty and dependability Dean brings to his practice. While some lawyers believe in standing behind their clients Dean stands in front of the people he represents to clear a path through the legal process. The law, he maintains, should shield, protect and enable.
Dean knows what it means to struggle, persist and work toward success. He has served as a volunteer mediator for Mediation Services and as a Citizen Advocacy Board member. Currently he sits on the Human Rights Committee of the Council of Canadians with Disabilities (CCD), Co-Chairs the Ending of Life Ethics Committee of the CCD and is a member of the Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities. In this leisure time Dean enjoys traveling, painting and photography.
